The Global Leadership Summit is ON next Monday and Tuesday – still have lots to do… Anne’s stressing out more than me, I think…

The GLS is an exciting event – leaders from ALL over Malaysia will be attending the videocast of the event that was held in August at Willow Creek, Chicago. I’m personally looking forward to a time of motivation, refreshing as well as personal challenge. I’m also looking forward to meeting old friends again and connecting with new ones…

I don’t understand it, but for the last few months, I’ve been strangely attracted to beautiful plants. Well, maybe “attracted to” may not be an accurate phrase for it…more like fixated on. Or crazy about. With the sole exception of my Mt Kinabalu climb, I just love looking at beautiful trees and shrubs and plants and flowers and stems…and I just get really angry whenever the state government sends men to cut down heritage trees in order to widen or add roads along the existing road shoulders.

Don’t know how long this obsession will last, but while it’s here, I guess I’ll be snapping away at those beauties…

My Real First Day At Work September 2, 2008

It was office as usual. It didn’t even feel different now that I’m getting paid…And tomorrow’s Wednesday – my day off.

Sigh…I think I need to think of ways to do things differently, so I can actually feel like I’m really working…

Well, today’s my first day of work. But…..today’s a holiday. It’s a replacement holiday for yesterday’s (Sunday’s) National Day. No need to go to work.

So, while it’s my first day of work, it’s not my first day at work.
